Kids Party FAQs

What ages are best for HomeCooked Cooking Birthday Parties?

Our parties are designed to entertain guests turning 7- turning 11 years of age.

How many guests can attend a cooking birthday party?

We limit parties to 16 participants and ask that at least 1 parent/guardian (but no more than 4) remain at HomeCooked during the party.

Do you have a waiting room for guests' parents to stay during the party?

No, we are a "drop off" party venue. We are happy to recommend local spots (Starbucks, Wegmans, Target, etc.) for parents to spend the two hours as we do not have room or seating for them.

One exception is if a party guest has a severe food allergy. A parent/guardian for that child is welcome to stay during the party.

Can you accommodate guests with food allergies?

We treat food allergies very seriously. Ingredients containing shellfish, peanuts, or tree nuts are not used during our parties. However, certain ingredients are used in our facility for other (non-party) uses or may come from a facility where allergens are used. We discourage guests with severe gluten, egg, or dairy allergies from participating due to the presence of those ingredients in party materials.

If a party guest would like to attend and has gluten, egg, or dairy allergies we can work with you to make accommodations (which may involve an additional charge or having guest bring materials). Please consult a HomeCooked associate at least 1 week prior to the party. Other allergies can be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.  If you have any allergy concerns please contact us to discuss options.

What is included in a HomeCooked Birthday Party?

What is not included?  What does a parent need to do?

We work to ensure our parties are as stress-free as possible for our parents. We take care of all of the planning, set up, party coordination, and clean up!

Relax and leave it to all to our team of professionals.

How do I schedule a cooking birthday party?

Check our website, email or call for availability. Once you're ready to book, the link is here to start your family profile and book/enroll for your party.

How much does a HomeCooked Party Cost?

$429 + 10% gratuity for up to 10 participants, including the birthday child. $30/person + 10% gratuity for guests 11-16. The gratuity is added for our hard working party leaders who manage everything during the party so you can relax!

To reserve, we ask for a $100 non-refundable deposit. We need a final guest count 1 week prior to the party to allow us to prep all ingredients.

You will be responsible for paying for the number of attendees communicated 1 week in advance. If additional guests beyond the final count number attend the party, you will be billed for them the day of the party. The balance can be taken care the day prior to the party. We accept cash, check, V/MC, Discover, and Amex.

Rescheduling/Cancellation Info:
If the party is rescheduled by the party family before Wednesday at 12pm the week of the party, HomeCooked will hold the deposit and apply it to a new party date. If party is cancelled at any time after booking the deposit will not be refunded.
